Meet some of our clients
The Ruth Strauss Foundation
We are the official events delivery partner of this incredible Foundation which aims to support families facing the death of a parent, as well as funding vital research into non-smoking lung cancer. Recent projects include delivering RSF's flagship special fundraiser, 'Rock for Ruth' - an event in its first year which was held at the beautiful Wormsley Estate and included an All-Star Celebrity Cricket match featuring England captains Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Sir Alastair Cook and Sir Andrew Strauss, food from Michelin star chef Tom Kerridge, stand-up from Michael McIntyre and an intimate gig from international superstar Ed Sheeran. In 2023, we delivered the second edition of 'Rock for Ruth' at the Royal Chelsea Hospital in London with Keane headlining the spectacle. As well as a golf day at Sunningdale and a dinner in the Long Room at Lord's Cricket Ground in the Autumn of 2023.
Sport in Mind
A charity which is very close to our heart, we have been brought on board to deliver key Fundraising events which will further allow Sport in Mind to change the lives of those suffering from mental illness through the power of sport. In May 2022 & 2023, we ran the inaugural Sport in Mind Golf Day which took place at Sunningdale Heath Golf Club and will be returning there in May 2023.
Tyrone Mings Golf Day
In May 2023, we hosted a charity golf event at The Belfry's iconic Brabazon course for Aston Villa and England footballer Tyrone Mings, in support of the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation. The day featured 18 teams, sporting personalities, a trick-shot display and an exciting 18-hole tournament at the iconic venue. Following the golfing action and entertainment, attendees gathered for a fundraiser dinner to benefit the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation.
Mental Miles
In March 2022, we ran a fundraising campaign called 'Mental Miles' which saw four men run a non-stop relay the length of the UK (from Land's End to John O'Groats) in a world record time of 6 days, 6 hours and 27 minutes. Campaign management included filming and producing promo videos, on-boarding headline sponsors (HOKA, Big Smoke Events and IGI), full social media management, PR services and unlocking ambassadorial support. In total, the campaign raised over £40,000 (including Gift Aid) for Sport in Mind.
Keynote Speaking
On the back of our experience, we're honoured to have spoken at some of the country's leading businesses and schools about our real life journey with mental health. Be it to employees, senior management, children or staff bodies - we're passionate about passing on our learnings and aim to be authentic, vulnerable and inspiring in equal measure. With our selection of speakers, each have their own story to tell and connect with audiences of all sizes.
The Egmont Trust
A charity improving the lives of children affected by AIDS and HIV in Africa, we were brought on board to help them deliver their first golf day in the UK. Consulting included a full venue search, budget structure and recommendations for the in-house event team. The event took place in Autumn 2022 at the prestigious Walton Heath Golf Club.
The Elite Amateur Golf Group
A forward thinking, innovative golf business who are building the ultimate community for the best amateur golfers in the UK. We were brought on board to help expand their league from 40 clubs to 80 in 2021, in a tournament which spans across the South of England and includes market leading sponsors, prestigious clubs and a Finals Day hosted at The Grove. The EAGG also hosts one-day events throughout the year, a pairs knockout and has its own shop with exclusive offers for members.
Levellr
A sports-tech platform which initially 'helped sport get closer to its fans', The Ordinary Sports Group advised Levellr from its early stages and has loved watching the business develop and grow. Now they are helping to build, manage and monetise communities through messaging groups.
Empathy Week
Empathy Week is a resource pack for schools around the world, designed to inspire children to use empathy in their development as leaders of the next generation. It does this through the power of film and storytelling (alongside lesson and project plans) and in 2021, our founder Pete's story was one that was told. The project reached 80,000 children around the globe and Pete is proud to be one of their Ambassadors.
The Nudgers Knockout
The Ordinary Sports Group host and manage a golf tournament for the Cultured Nudgers Golf Society. 2021 saw 64 players of all abilities, compete at some of the finest golf courses in the UK for the coveted trophy. For more information, head to the Events page.
